BIG WINDOWS, OPEN SPACES AND PALE COLORS

I have come across a lovely house tour on HOME DESIGNINGIt's one of the blogs that I follow regularly and every post is just so dreamy. So this is one of them.

HAO Design is the office who has designed this lovely house which is situated on Kaohsiung Maountains in Taiwan. It overlooks the beautiful city with an enormous view from above and gets the best out of it with the vast windows.

Simple, neat lines with pale colors dominate the atmosphere of the interior. There is nothing excess and yet everything necessary is still exposed.

The ceiling and the floor lines are following each other with the same angle. The lounge area and the dining-kitchen area is separated only by means of a step.

The ceiling also hides the ventilation system and creates a linear division in the ceiling of the two spaces. The concrete creates a smooth background to all the other pale colors in the surrounding.

The lego on the wall is just so lovely!

The playful wall panels look so friendly. And the color scheme is carried out to the bedroom as well.

The hidden, secret storage areas in the kids' room is also a very nice idea.

FOUR TOTALLY DIFFERENT BATHROOM STYLES

The first area in the house that we go in the morning is generally the bathroom, as it is also the last one we go before sleeping. It's just a "must" place actually, but since we definitely use it in a day; it would be a wise idea to decorate it nicely!

ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST  has a great collection of architectural photos and all these are just a small selection from their archive. This vanity in the bathroom is small yet so cute. The wall paper, small ottoman, wicker basket, they all create a nice and a homely feeling.

Here we have a more modern one with sharp lines, big plain surfaces and a wall of mirror. A totally different style but its very refreshing and a cool vanity.

Sometimes only a block of stainless steel cupboard is enough to create a vanity. You mount it in front of a wall of mirror and here, you get a hi tech bathroom already.

Rustic in style, this bathroom is quite cool! The former study desk is turned into a vanity, with an addition on a marble counter top. The small portrait and the bowl looks quite appealing as well.

Only small details can make a bathroom look more stylish.
Why don't you also update your vanity?
